Cybraics today announced that Shawn Carpenter will be joining the Cybraics team as Senior Vice President of Cyber. Shawn will be responsible for heading up the Cyber Expertise and Analysis Department, performing thought leadership around cyber use cases including products and services, developing the processes for the future cyber-team, and bringing on-board more analysts.
Shawn brings over 20 years of cyber security experience to the company. He is also a successful early stage venture capitalist. “His incessant passion for securing our nation’s assets makes him the perfect addition to the Cybraics family,” said President Marvin Wheeler. “Shawn is a proven leader with extensive experience in the field, his breadth of knowledge in cyber security makes him a valuable part of the team, and I look forward to what is to come.”
Shawn’s impressive resume includes stints as Chief Technical Analyst at iSIGHT Partners, Chief Strategy Officer for Invotas International, and Principal Forensics Analyst at NetWitness Corporation. “I am excited to be joining such a great company, and to be working with old friends again,” said Mr. Carpenter. “I believe the potential for growth in managed security analytics as a service is very promising, and I look forward to working with such an accomplished and dedicated team.”
