CYBRAICS APPOINTS RICHARD HEIMANN AS CHIEF DATA SCIENTIST
Arlington, VA – January 22, 2016 – Cybraics, a revolutionary Cyber Analytics company, has appointed Rich Heimann as Chief Data Scientist, leading our expert analytics team in the management of generating and optimizing our proprietary algorithms that drive our platform.

Before joining Cybraics, Mr. Heimann was the Chief Data Scientist with L-3 National Security Solutions and has managed teams of up to 15 Data Scientist. Possessing a broad range of knowledge in statistics, Richard has taught graduate classes in “Human Terrain Analysis” at George Mason University, “Statistical Reasoning” at UMBC, supported DARPA, the Pentagon, and the Naval Research Laboratory with data analytics.

Richard has a degree in spatial statistics and econometrics from the University of Maryland. He is EMC data science certified, and has authored numerous publications including co-authoring a recent book titled Social Media Mining with R – Exploring the merits of Natural Language Processing and Social Media data.
