Cybraics Acquired by SilverSky to Expand MDR Services with AI-Powered Advanced Threat Detection

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (April 5, 2022) – SilverSky, a cybersecurity innovator offering powerful managed detection and response (MDR) services, announced it completed the acquisition of Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Cybraics. By leveraging the AI-powered advanced threat detection and threat hunting solutions within Cybraics’ autonomous SIEM, SilverSky will strengthen its industry-leading MDR service offerings and expand its customer base into the federal market.
Cybraics AI/ML-based behavioral analytics technology uniquely analyzes and filters siloed data while automating the correlation and prioritization of threats to reduce cyber threat analyst workloads by 97%. Developed out of a long-term, award-winning research program with the U.S. Department of Defense, Cybraics significantly reduces false positives while identifying many of the sophisticated threats that other platforms miss. Building off the momentum of the fall 2021 nLighten release of Adaptive Analytic Detection (AAD) and Persistent Behavior Tracing (PBT), the SilverSky acquisition represents a significant investment into the future of the Cybraics nLighten platform.

Cybraics’ existing customers will continue to be fully supported by the newly expanded team. Additionally, Cybraics will continue to offer its nLighten platform to its partner network. SilverSky’s existing customers will now be able to leverage Cybraics’ AI-powered advanced threat detection capabilities as a service offering.
With an ongoing focus on expanding its market presence, obtaining additional intellectual property, and expanding into new regions, Cybraics marks SilverSky’s third acquisition in the last six months, acquiring Advanced Computer Solutions Group, LLC (ACSG) and Cygilant. The company also recently announced strategic partnerships with Prime Communications (Prime) and PatientLock and a $31.5 million investment in SilverSky by ITOCHU International, Inc., the North American flagship company of Tokyo-based ITOCHU Corporation.
