Avant Signs Cybraics, Harnesses Cybersecurity Platform

It appears to be Cybraics' third master-agent partnership.

Avant Communications has added cybersecurity and analytics firm Cybraics to its stable of suppliers.

Cybraics offers a threat detection and analytics platform, which uses artificial intelligence to quickly identify and respond to security threats. Partners will sell the virtual appliance nLighten as a service.

“We are excited to partner with Avant to offer our advanced threat detection services throughout their nationwide network of trusted advisers,” said Nate Grinnell, Cybraics’ vice president of sales. “Robust cybersecurity practices are essential for the health of all companies, but many still have limited resources allocated toward this critical function. Through Avant’s trusted advisers and IT decision-making tool Pathfinder, companies can now access Cybraics and dramatically improve their cybersecurity stance.”

Avant President Drew Lydecker said IT staff lack the bandwidth to handle the fast-evolving landscape of enterprise security threats.

“Real-time research shows us that implementing disruptive solutions like Cybraics is no longer optional for enterprises; it’s critical for long-term growth,” said Drew Lydecker, President, Avant. “We’re thrilled to offer access to Cybraics’ platforms as our trusted advisors continue to shape IT decision-making.”

Cybraics broke into the master agent channel last October by partnering with Telecom Consulting Group. It went on to sign agreements with Telarus and CNSG. Grinnell, who had previously worked for Oracle, Masergy, Aryaka Networks and Cato Networks, joined Cybraics in August.

Jamie Dos Santos founded Cybraics in 2014. The company operates out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with additional offices in Georgia and Virginia.

Avant is in expansion mode. It’s opening up an office in Dallas and growing its book of business in Europe. Lydecker shared his thoughts on the changing role of the channel partner in a recent Q&A.
